Cart and checkout
Unlabeled fields and unnamed buttons are the allegations plaintiffs copy from suit to suit.
Audits flag each one with the element and the WCAG rule, on every page.
Product photos
A product grid without alt text is a page a screen reader can't shop.
Audits list every image missing alt text.
Meta, TikTok and Google pixels
Pixels that fire on load are behind wiretap suits, and ad sharing counts toward the CCPA.
Trackers wait for consent, and GPC is honored.
Accessibility widgets
About 1 in 4 stores sued in 2025 had a widget installed.
The menu helps shoppers; the audit closes the gaps a plaintiff tests.
What ComplyMo does, and what it doesn't
ComplyMo does
- Audits every page for WCAG 2.2 issues and ranks the fixes
- Re-checks the whole store daily
- Works on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and custom builds
ComplyMo doesn't
- It doesn't fix your theme; the audit says what to change
- The accessibility menu helps shoppers; it isn't conformance on its own
- It isn't legal advice, and no tool can promise you won't be sued

Frequently asked questions
Does the ADA apply to my online-only store?
Courts disagree, and no federal appeals court has settled it. Suits keep coming: ecommerce was about 70% of digital accessibility suits in 2025.
Will an accessibility widget stop lawsuits?
The data says no. EcomBack counted 983 suits in 2025 against sites with a widget installed, about 1 in 4.
Does SB 690 mean I can stop worrying about pixels in California?
No. It ends only private pen-register claims, from January 1, 2027. Wiretap claims over pixels, chat and session replay still pay $5,000 per violation.
Do I have to honor Global Privacy Control?
Under the CCPA, yes: GPC is a valid opt-out of selling or sharing, to be processed within 15 business days.
